NEWCASTLE STAKEHOLDER EVENTS
RESCUE Northumbria held a stakeholder event at St James’ Park in Newcastle on 21st March 2005 to disseminate the research results to approximately 80 invited stakeholders – academic, medical, nursing and allied health colleagues and representatives from non-statutory organisations - from the North East and further afield. Professor Meg Morris from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, and Dr David Burn from Newcastle University were keynote speakers at this event. Exhibitors included a number of Northumbria University departments and a model of the proposed new regional neurological rehabilitation centre at Walkergate was on display. Guests had the opportunity to tour the Newcastle United facilities after the event.
