Katherine Baker, Research Physiotherapist

Katherine joined the rescue team in April 2003 as a research physiotherapist. Her work involves delivering physiotherapy to the patients involved in the Rescue trial in their home, which gives her a great mixture of practical, and research based work. She is hoping to work towards a Masters degree over the next 2 years.

After graduating from the University of Teesside in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree she worked at Sunderland Royal Hospital on a general junior rotation and later as a Senior II in neurological rehabilitation. This involved both in-patient and outpatient treatment of a varied caseload of neurological conditions across all age ranges and abilities.
